Sobreviviente de cáncer cerebral se coronó Miss Earth Australia 2020

Brittany Dickson es sobreviviente de cáncer cerebral y fue coronada como la nueva Miss Earth Australia 2020, según la anunció la organización a través de sus redes sociales.

A través de su cuenta de Instagram, la nueva reina realizó una publicación expresando que la corona no la quiere por la gloria sino porque le ayudará a llegar a más personas.

“No quiero la corona por la gloria, quiero que la corona alce mi voz para llegar a la mayor cantidad de personas posible en la búsqueda de una Tierra más verde”, decía.

Brittany Dickson ya había competido en el certamen el año pasado y fue coronada como Miss Charity Australia; mientras que en 2017 fue nombrada Miss Air Australia.

Australia aún tiene la esperanza de ganar la primera corona de Miss Earth en este año. El país ocupa actualmente el sexto lugar en el ranking del concurso de belleza que se enfoca en el cuidado y la preservación del medio ambiente.
