Vocalista de The Wanted tiene un tumor cerebral

El cantante Tom Parker, mejor conocido por ser el vocalista principal de la banda británico-irlandesa The Wanted, reveló que le diagnosticaron un tumor de glioblastoma de grado cuatro y está en tratamiento.

El músico de 32 años compartió la noticia con la revista británica OK!, diciendo que sus médicos describieron el tumor como “el peor de los casos” y le informaron que era terminal.

Parker, quien anunció a principios de este año que él y su esposa están esperando su segundo hijo, usó Instagram para dirigirse a sus fanáticos.

“Estamos todos absolutamente devastados, pero vamos a luchar contra esto hasta el final”.

“No queremos tu tristeza, solo queremos amor y positividad y juntos crearemos conciencia sobre esta terrible enfermedad y buscaremos todas las opciones de tratamiento disponibles”, escribió junto a su foto con su esposa, la estrella de televisión Kelsey Hardwick y su hija Aurelia, de un año.

“Va a ser una batalla dura, pero con el amor y el apoyo de todos vamos a vencer esto”, agregó.

Parker saltó a la fama como parte de The Wanted, un grupo musical de cinco miembros, cuyos éxitos incluyen “All Time Low” y “Heart Vacancy”.

La banda se separó en 2014 para perseguir proyectos en solitario.
